We've spent the last five month working alongside Think Local First and the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development to help launch the Made in DC Program, and so it was with G R E A T excitement + R E A L pride to witness Mayor Bowser sign the Made in DC legislation – introduced back in December by Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen – into L A W .

Huge thanks to all the Made in DC member businesses who helped make the night happen (including One Eight Distilling, Green Hat Gin, Don Ciccio & Figli, and Cotton & Reed), and to Union Market and No Kings Collective for hosting (they're both great friends of A Creative DC; be sure to get down to Lab 1270 on May 13 when the current exhibit (that blue-walled amazingness that is The Beasts of England) turns over to Hustle 2.0).
